APA Permit Conditions


Note: The original is at the clubhouse for member inspection.

1. Conditions must be observed and followed. Failure to comply could lead to revocation of the permit.

2. This permit is binding on present and future owners of the project site and all contractors undertaking any portion of the project. Copies of the permit are available to all contractors. All contractors should obtain a copy of the permit before undertaking a project.

3. The Agency may conduct on-site investigations at reasonable times and with advance notice where possible.

4. No other development shall be undertaken without Agency approval. Total membership shall be reported to the Agency on an annual basis.

5. All cabins must comply with the "Standards for Club Cabins."

6. No more than two accessory structures and one outhouse with the total of all accessory structures not to exceed 400 square feet in size.

7. Any wastewater treatment system that is not at least 100 feet from any wetland or stream must be brought to standards within two yeas.

8. New wastewater system information. See permit or talk to club members Roy St. Andrews or Al Kingsley.

9. Roads may be maintained but not upgraded without Agency approval. Diamond Drive may only be plowed to within 100 feet of the bridge across Cold Brook.

10. No more than 12 boats may be stored at the Barney Pond access point and no new access points shall be created without Agency review and approval.

11. No cut zone restrictions: 300 feet from Barney Pond or 50 feet from associated wetlands. 200 feet from Cold Brook or 50 feet from associated wetlands (whichever is greater). 50 feet from any other creek or wetland on the property.

12. No structures, except docks, within 100 feet of Barney Pond.

13. Wetland protection (see permit).

14. 300 foot no-cut buffer zone along all public highways to reduce visibility.

15. Within 5 years, develop a forest management program prepared by a professional forester.

16. Within 3 years, prepare a qualitative biological inventory (see permit)

17. Changes to rules, regulations and standards of club cabins must be reviewed and approved by the Agency.

18. No new land use, development or road construction in the open space portions of the property.

19. No operation of any ATV, snowmobile, dirt bike, etc. within 100 feet of adjoining property unless there is an existing access road.
