Rules and Regulations

EFFECTIVE DATE:  September 1, 2000
These rules and regulations shall supersede all previous by-laws, rules and regulations.


SECTION 1:  In the interest of safety, no firearm shall be loaded in any camp, building or vehicle (except licensed hand guns).

SECTION 2:  All members are required, when meeting a stranger on the corporate lands, to request that the stranger show proof of his/her membership to allow them on the premises.  If no proof is supplied, his/her name or license number shall be turned over to the president for prosecution.

SECTION 3:  No member shall cut, remove, or destroy any tree or living shrub without consent.

SECTION 4:  Extreme caution is required to prevent forest fires.

SECTION 5:  All Members shall provide help in the event of accident or unforeseen catastrophe.

SECTION 6:  Work parties for the purpose of doing necessary work on the grounds shall be drawn up by the president.  Members shall perform one day’s work per year for the well being of the corporation land.  There will be a fine of $25 assessed to the member that does not have a valid excuse for attending at least one work party per year.

SECTION 7:  Every member is expected to obey all civil, criminal and conservation laws and to be a role model for future generations.

SECTION 8:  Any organized drives near lines shall be toward the center of corporate lands and not off the corporate lands.

SECTION 9:  Main gates to corporate lands shall be locked at all times.

SECTION 10:  Motorbikes, snowmobiles and automobiles are to be driven in single file, on the proper side of the road, at a reasonable speed and only on accessible roads and trails.  All motor vehicles will be covered by liability insurance.

SECTION 11:  All members with camps must submit ownership documents to the secretary with beneficiary listed.

SECTION 13:  All dogs must be confined or on a leash at all times.

SECTION 14:  Bow hunting/Muzzle loading allowed as per state regulations.

SECTION 15:  Diamond Sportsmen’s Club stickers must be affixed to the driver’s side rear bumper of member’s vehicle.
